Gary Schwartz, Impact Mobile

 

Gary Schwartz founded Impact Mobile in 2002 having worked in the IT and telecommunications industry for over 20 years. Over the past eight years, Gary has played a leadership role in the mobile industry, running the first cross-carrier short code campaign in North America.

Gary is the chair emeritus and founder of the mobile committee for the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) (www.iab.net) and has worked to publish literature such as the Mobile Buyer's Guide help extend the digital buy into mobile (for which he received IAB award for industry excellence in 2009).

In 2007, Gary started work to help establish a joint task force between the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) and the IAB with the aid of the Media Rating Council (MRC) to develop global, auditable mobile measurement standards.

In 2008, Gary was elected as the Americas vice-chair of the Mobile Entertainment Forum (MEF) (www.m-e-f.org) with a remit to develop a global Mobile Commerce Guidebook to demystify the space for brands and retailers.

Gary is the recipient of the Macromedia People Choice Award as well as the Dodge Foundation award for innovation.

Noah Rickun, CEO of Jeffery Gitomer's TrainOne

Steve Rowen is RSR’s emerging markets specialist. In addition to having been a pioneering analyst in the field of customer data security, his areas of focus include environmental sustainability within retail, loss prevention, cross-channel and eCommerce applications, as well as merchandising and workforce management technologies. Jeff Stapleton, VP, ISSC Group, Bank of America

 

Jeff Stapleton is a VP with Bank of American in their Information Security Strategy and Consulting (ISSC) group with 25 years experience in the cryptography, security, financial, payment and healthcare industries. Mr. Stapleton has his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Science from the Universities of Missouri and has instructed at Washington University, St. Louis and the University of Texas, San Antonio (UTSA). He has participated in developing ISO and ANSI X9 security standards for over 20 years and is the current 12-year chair of the X9F4 working group. 

 
 

Greg Buzek, Founder and President of IHL Consulting Group

 

Greg Buzek is the Founder and President of IHL Consulting Group and one of the Founders of the Retail Orphan Initiative (www.retailROI.org), a charitable foundation that seeks to help the 400 million orphaned and vulnerable children in the world. Noted by RIS News as one of the 25 Most Influential People in Retail, he has a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from The Ohio State University, and 20 years of experience in market analysis, business planning, product development, and consulting with Fortune 500 companies. He is frequently quoted in RIS News, StorefrontBacktalk, CIO Information Network, Information Week, Supermarket News, Vertical Systems Reseller, Kiosk Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, and the Washington Post and has been used as a retail technology analyst on NBC Nightly News, CBS News, and CNBC. In addition Greg has been a guest lecturer for the Wharton School of Business' Global Consulting Practicum and at Belmont University.
