Technical Support Analyst - Field Services

Position Available: Immediately

 

The Technical Support Analyst deploys/supports IT technicians for nationwide onsite repair/installations. All candidates should have IT, Computer, Business, and Network knowledge with strong phone skills. We are looking for detail oriented people with a strong work ethic that are able to multi-task effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in each of these areas and possess the ability to learn and comprehend quickly. This position is located in Hoffman Estates, IL and may require travel for Field Training.

 

The work hours for this position may vary depending on customer needs.  All applicants MUST be willing/able to work between the hours of 6:00am and 10:00pm 7 days per week.  All inquiries must include a resume with references.  Salary for this position will be commensurate with experience.

 

This position requires the following:

• Formal or technical education with information technology emphasis preferred
• Technical Services backgroundSupport Experience
• High volume call center experience preferred
• Three (3) years minimum systems client support experience in operating systems including Windows and Linux
• Three (3) years’ minimum customer service experience, preferably in a technical capacity

Field Experience - Three (3) years minimum in each of these areas:  ethernet cabling installation, network installation and configuration, wireless site surveys including configuration and installation, PC terminal installation and troubleshooting, Point of Sale terminal and software installation and troubleshooting and phone system installation, configuration and troubleshooting.

  


Project Manager - Client Services

Position Available: Immediately

 

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the creation and execution of project plans sold to our customers. A critical part of the job is maintaining and enhancing the customer relationship. The PM is customer facing working with a variety of customer personnel from senior management downward. The PM works as a liaison between the customer, internal staff and 3rd parties in serving the customer’s needs.

 

The Project Manager is augmented by additional personnel in a number of areas including Operations and Logistics, Field Services and Accounting. Additionally, the Project Manager works closely with designated Account Coordinators for logistical support. These resources are assigned to work with the PM to accomplish project management and logistical activities associated with a specific project or customer activity. The PM retains overall responsibility for these activities while work is performed by others.

 

Successful candidates for this position will have a proven record of Project Management experience and methodologies, including past experience with large, complex implementation projects with nationwide installations. PMI or ITL certifications are desirable.

  

Requirements

  • Must have experience managing projects. This includes; Project Planning, Budgets, Statement of Work, Contracts and Process Documentation
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of audiences
  • Possess a strong knowledge of operating procedures and systems and ability to ensure procedures and systems are being followed
  • Must be comfortable with fast-paced, entrepreneurial corporate culture and the standards and work ethic consistent with that environment
  • Successful independent management experience with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing successful solutions
  • Ability to create and sustain a positive environment for customers and associates through leadership, proper training and coaching
  • Requires considerable judgment and initiative in resolving problems and making recommendations
  • BA or Higher; Equivalent work experience
  • Ability to interact with diverse levels of internal and external personnel while effectively balancing the customer’s needs
  • Superior interpersonal skills necessary to communicate complex information to various internal and external personnel in a clear, concise and well organized fashion
  • High level of detail orientation necessary to understand, document and execute all phases of customer projects
  • This position is deadline-driven and will require extra hours in the evenings and weekends. It is minimally supervised requiring the employee to operate under minimal direction.
