The KSI-1440 SUB is small footprint, space-saver keyboard that integrates a PCSC compatible, ISO-7816 smart card reader. This reader works seamlessly with all the major middleware applications and is Common Access Card compatible for US government and DOD use. Firmware can be securely upgraded in the field. In addition, the KSI-1440 SUB is compliant with all banking IT standards and certifications. It is also designed to support a wide range of e-commerce, authentication, PKI and network based security applications. It is compatible with Smart OS middleware. Its USB interface allows for easy plug and play, and an additional USB hub port is great for extra peripherals.
